Site work and paving for a civil project in Ankeny, Iowa. Completed plans call civil work for a bridge / tunnel, road / highway and water / sewer project.
The 2021 Saylor Creek Repairs and Restoration project includes stabilization of stream banks at two separate sites. Site 1 encompasses a section of Saylor Creek between SW Prairie Trail Parkway and SW Oralabor Road. Located south of Site 1, Site 2 resides between SW 31st Lane and SW Twin Gates Drive along an unnamed, west flowing tributary to Saylor Creek. Both sites are in the Southwest quadrant of the City of Ankeny. The construction improvements include approximately 1,000 CY of general excavation, rubbish disposal of a collapsed bridge, 300 tons of riprap, and installation of permanent erosion control matting. Other items include but are not limited to traffic control, seeding, surface restoration, and associated miscellaneous work to complete the project.
