The Airport's primary commercial service taxiway underwent its last major rehabilitation in FY 2004 and has exceeded its 15-year useful life. Rehabilitation would involve grading corrections as well as a complete overlay. Project is included in City of Lynchburg Fiscal Year 2026-2030 Capital Improvement Program. As of November 21, 2025, project is funded for construction in 4th Quarter of 2026. Engineering/Design 1st Quarter of 2026. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
