Description

Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Marriottsville, Maryland. Completed plans call for paving for a road / highway; for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; for site work for a water / sewer project; and road / highway.

Howard County intends to procure the services of one construction firm to construct a Compost Processing Building at the Alpha Ridge Landfill. The project includes the construction of a 30,000 s.f. pre-engineered fabric membrane structure, concrete floor and push walls, fiber reinforced concrete topping, site work, retaining wall, stormwater management, storm drains, site paving, and utility work including submersible pump system, small diameter force main, water main and sewer and conduit for extension of electrical service. This project is in SHA Cost Group "E". Each bid shall be accompanied by an electronic copy of a bid bond OR certified check, in the amount of 5% of the total bid, made payable to the "Director of Finance, Howard County". For a certified check, the Contractor shall submit the original certified check to the Office of Procurement and Contract Administration PRIOR to the bid due date and time to be deemed responsive.
