As of April 27, 2023, construction has commenced and close to completion. Project is included City of Shawnee 2022-2032 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). The closed solicitation has been included below for reference. Johnson County Stormwater Management Program is beginning a new Pipe Replacement Program. The need county-wide far outstrips available funds and recent changes in the County's Administrative Policies have moved a portion of their flood remediation funds for Capital Improvement Program to the new Pipe Replacement fund. This fund is set up to be a 50:50 cost share. 8 projects were submitted for funding consideration that meet the new program parameters. 64th & Chouteau was originally the proposed project 2026, however the City has been offered funding through the County for 2022. The project includes the replacement of two pipes (862 LF). The City share of this project will be from the additional General Fund transfer for Stormwater Repairs done in 2021. Annual, as well as, historic pipe and structure condition inspection data provide the basis for prioritizing repairs. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
