Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

As of October 4, 2023, full design is underway with construction beginning as early as December 2023. Construction completion expected mid 2026. This project provides funding to improve 17th Street from Cypress Avenue to Pacific Avenue and provides essenal connecvity and improved aesthecs for the 17th Street Corridor through the implementaon of an 80 foot typical secon consisng of wide sidewalks, street trees, bicycle lanes, traffic signals, curb and guer, and four lanes of traffic. Associated ulity and accessibility upgrades including undergrounding of overhead ulies, new storm, sewer, and water infrastructure, improved crosswalks, and curb ramps will be implemented. This project will build upon exisng streetscapes including Laskin Gateway, 29th Street, 19th Street, 18th Street, and Pacific Avenue.
