Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The City of Virginia Beach is searching for qualified Design-Builder proposers for the Atlantic Avenue Street Improvements Project. The project limits extend along Atlantic Avenue from 5th Street to 40th Street. The scope of work includes sidewalk widening and replacement, new streetscape and hardscape, new street furnishings (e.g., benches, bike racks, planters, etc.), lighting, signing and pavement markings, and upgrading and replacing infrastructure. An inperson industry briefing meeting will be scheduled after the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) release, which is anticipated in February of 2023. This brochure overviews the Procurement method, schedule, budget, concept, and project goals.
