Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Douglas, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The project consists of furnishing all material and constructing the following: 27,200 sq.yds. of HMA pavement Cold Milling & Paving 125 ft. of Guardrail removal and replacement 500 sq.ft. of concrete sidewalk Storm Sewer Spot Repair Including all necessary appurtenances and restoration. Contract documents may be examined electronically or at the offices of: City of Douglas, 86 W. Center Street, Douglas, MI 49406 Prein&Newhof, 697 Ottawa Beach Road, Holland, MI 49424 And some local plan rooms. Electronic drawings, specifications and bidding documents will be accessible/available only to those Bidders who are active members of the Prein&Newhof Plan Room. Bidder assumes sole risk for any project specifications and drawings, electronic or hard copy, obtained other than directly from Prein&Newhof. The work to be performed under this contract will be financed and paid for by funds received from the City of Douglas. A bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check payable to the City of Douglas in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total price shall accompany each bid. This surety shall bind the bidder for a period of forty-five (45) days after the receipt of bids. The project shall be completed by November 1, 2021 or within forty-five (45) days of starting work, whichever comes first.
