As of 10/1/21, per the owner the bid came over budget and the project has been put on hold. There are plans to rebid the project in Spring 2022. Site Improvements at Erie County General Construction Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, bank cashier's or trust company treasurer's check, or approved Surety Company's bid bond, made payable to the County of Erie in the amount of 10 percent (10%) of the base bid as a security. Prospective bidders must include company name, contact person and email address for the electronic link to be released. Questions during the bid period shall be directed to the office of the architect. All contracts exceeding $10,000 shall contain a provision requiring compliance with Executive order 11246, entitled, "Equal Employment Opportunity," as amended by Executive order 11375 and as supplemented in Department of Labor regulations (41 CFR Part 60) This is a Federally Assisted Project and is subject to coverage under the Davis-Bacon and related Acts. Project Labor Agreement compliance also shall apply. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set forth in the opening of bids. The County of Erie reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept/reject any part of the bids All construction work as shown and specified. Selective demolition (milling) of pavement. New wearing surface, new concrete pavement at catch basins, patch concrete walls of catch basins at pipe penetrations, new line striping, etc. Landscaping restoration as required.
