**As of October 26, 2021, the award amount is $4,456,064.50. Contract No. 3, Water Distribution Main Improvements Contract No. 3 General Construction: Installation of approximately 4,800 linear feet of 6-inch and approximately 8,600 linear feet of 8-inch ductile iron water main associated with the well site off of Plains Road and throughout Plains Road neighborhood. Scope of work consists of excavation and trench preparation for the new water main, installation of new water main piping, including water valves, new water services, new water meters, corporation and curb stops, new service piping, new hydrant assemblies, and restoration of existing surfaces including asphalt pavement, gravel drives, and grass. Water main construction includes work zone traffic control and erosion and sediment control. Scope of work consists of construction of the Plains Road Well House, including the furnishing and installation of well pumps, sodium hypochlorite dosing systems, a clear well, distribution pumps and associated instrumentation, control and process piping and appurtenances.
