Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Tigard, Oregon. Design plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
This project will purchase the site, plan, permit, design, and ultimately construct a new Public Works Facility and Yard. It will house and serve as the operations and maintenance center for the water, sewer, storm, parks and recreation, streets, and fleet and facility functions. It will also function as the Incident Operation Center and host the field staff, equipment, and materials needed to respond to emergencies. Operations and Maintenance Impact: The new yard and facilities will assist PW in operating and maintaining the ever-growing city and its infrastructure, tackle the backlog of maintenance work, and enhance our ability to provide core services. Project is included City of Tigard FY 2022-2023 CIP Page 317. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
