Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Steinbach, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the construction of a 94,381-square-foot, two-story above grade recreation facility; for site work for a recreation facility; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Work of this Contract comprises general construction of support buildings for an expansion to the existing recreation facility in downtown Steinbach, Manitoba, Canada and further identified as the Southeast Event Centre. The project consists of construction of three stages of work which form the overall community event and recreation campus: .1 2400 Seat Spectator Arena and Atrium .2 Demolition of existing Centennial Arena .3 500 Seat Community Hall and Amenities The work of this project is located as part of an existing operational recreation centre and includes construction of tie-ins to the existing TG Smith Arena and civil/landscaping work. *Tender has been awarded for $61 million with a reduced scope of work.
