Beaverton School District will receive Pre-Qualification Applications for RFQ 21-0002 to identify pre-qualified General Contractors for the provision of Vose Elementary School Classrooms Addition project. The General Contractor (GC) will be selected under ITB 21-0005, which is expected to be posted on or about September 2, 2021 with Bids due on or about October 5, 2021. Only General Contractors who are pre-qualified under RFQ 21-0002 will be eligible to submit a Bid under ITB 21-0005. This Contract is for a Public Work subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870. This project consists of constructing an approximately 4,950 SF addition to the existing building and renovating approximately 4,000 SF, resulting in a new library and five new classrooms. The school will be occupied during the initial phase of construction and will require temporary protection to separate construction activities from school activities. Activities while occupied will be limited to work outside of current occupied building space. The location of the project is Vose Elementary School, 11350 SW Denney RD, Beaverton, OR 97008. It is intended that the Contractor provides a complete project and coordinates work with the District, Contractors and Consultants hired by the District, and all applicable agencies having authority a. Work to include supplying, storing and handling of all required materials. b. Work includes protection of neighboring finishes and replacement/repair of any damaged surfaces c. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and other facilities and services as necessary and/or required to execute all of the Work. d. All work areas shall be cleaned of any construction debris on a daily basis. General Contractor is responsible for material removal and disposal. Upon completion of the project, the General Contractor is to provide final cleaning of all work installed, replaced or repaired and adjacent areas impacted by construction activities. e. The contractor is responsible for all site logistics and maintaining safety during occupied construction. This would include all temporary partitions, fencing, signage and other materials and labor to ensure separation and site safety within the existing fenced perimeter of the project site.
