Remodeling of a municipal facility in Barron, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the remodel of a municipal facility.
Work of this contract consists of remodeling the building formerly known as the Federated Co-op Building. A single lump sum bid will be required for all of the work shown on the plans. It is the Owner's intent to AWARD the Project to the successful Contractor by early September 2021. Contractors MUST be prepared to sign contracts by September 7th, 2021. The Project is scheduled for completion by October 29th, 2021. Bids shall be on the forms provided for that purpose and according to the Contract. Each bid shall be accompanied by the Bidder's Bond or Certified Check in the amount equal to at least 5 percent of the amount of the total bid, which shall be forfeited to the Owner in the event the successful Bidder fails to enter into a Contract. Bids shall be directed to the Owner securely sealed and endorsed upon the outside wrapper BID FOR Federated Co-op Remodeling. Bidders will be required to provide Performance AND Payment bonds of 100 percent of the bid amount. This Work shall be subject to minimum wages and labor standards in accordance with State of Wisconsin statutes. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids or award the project in a way that best suits the interest of Barron County (Wisconsin).
