Renovation of a transportation facility in Ogden, Utah. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
All work must meet current industry standards and all federal, state and local rules and regulations. Ogden City encourages and welcomes bids from local, women and minority owned businesses and other disadvantaged business enterprises. All contractors intending to submit a bid are required to attend to obtain relevant information concerning the project. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any proposals that best serve its convenience and/or is found to be in the best interest of the City. Contractor will be responsible for removing old roof and installing new roof for hangar 755 (S-755) at the Ogden Airport. The building consists of four parts and is detailed in the plans and specifications, which are available from the Ogden City Purchasing website: https://www.ogdencity.com/264/Purchasing Contractor will be responsible for: Review of roofing to be demolished prior to submitting a bid. Competitively bidding required work, and negotiating and contracting with subcontractors and suppliers to accomplish the work. Completing the Project on time and within budget. Obtain airport badging clearance for two employees, one of which is required to be on site while work is being done. Protection of adjacent structures to remain Demolition and full removal of building elements described in the plans. Cost for contractor to obtain all required permits An asbestos survey has been completed and will be provided to the awarded contractor
