Renovation of a civil project in Hughesville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

The Project includes the following Work: Removal and installation of pumps, base elbows, lifting rails, pump controls and pump control panel at the wastewater treatment plant influent pump station. These identified components will be furnished by the authority. Additionally, the pump station will require removal and installation of the existing roof system and mechanical exhauster. The intake air blower will be replaced with J-hook vent pipe. The pump station valve vault will need the check valves replaced with swing check valves. Bypass pumping of the pump station will be necessary by plugging influent manhole and pumping to the existing bypass station located next to the pump station. The Work is to be constructed under two separate contracts as follows: Contract 1 - General Construction Contract 2 - Electrical Construction . Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10 percent (10%) of the maximum amount of the bid, as a guarantee that the bidder will execute the contract and furnish the necessary bonds if the contract is awarded to him/her. Obtaining the Bidding Documents Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be found at the following designated website. Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated website. Prospective Bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. Pre-bid Conference There will not be a pre-bid conference. Instructions to Bidders For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Program Requirements The Supplementary Conditions set forth requirements for the payment by the Contractor and all Subcontractors of minimum wage rates for all classes of laborers and mechanics as set forth by all applicable provisions of the PA Prevailing Wage Act, and the Bid shall be prepared accordingly. Contractors and subcontractors shall not discriminate by reason of race, gender, creed, color, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or in violation of the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act (PHRA) and applicable federal laws and are required to submit a signed Nondiscrimination / Sexual Harassment Clause form with their bid. Contractors and subcontractors are required to comply with the Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act. Contractors and subcontractors are required to comply with all applicable Federal, State, and Local Laws. Other Requirements Bids shall be sealed in an opaque envelope and clearly marked as a bid for the Project. The envelope must also bear the name and address of the bidder. The Hughesville-Wolf Township Joint Municipal Authority reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to reject any and all bids and to award either contract to the lowest responsible bidder for the total of all lump sum items. No bidder may withdraw his or her bid within sixty (60) days after the actual opening thereof. Bid Results- 1. CONTRACT 1 – GENERAL CONSTRUCTION - JP Environmental, LLC -$93,000. 2.
