Site work for a road / highway in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Questions regarding electronic submissions are welcome via email through Purchasing.Agent@allentownpa.gov. Questions due March 7, 2022 4:00 PM Bid Bond required - Each bid shall be accompanied by an original Bid Bond signed by a surety company, with original signatures, authorized to do business in Pennsylvania in the amount equal to ten (10%) percent of the bid total or a Certified Check, a Bank Check, or an Irrevocable Letter of Credit in the amount equal to ten (10%) percent of the bid total. The quantities set forth in the response are estimates. Awards may be made for more or less. The City may make an award for all or some of the items set forth in the response and reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The City is proposing improvements to the existing downtown signal system. The installation of traffic signal communication equipment to connect the 20 intersections to the existing system. All intersections will be equipped with spread spectrum radio with fiber optic connections to City facilities. Replacement of the controller timer units. Installation of video detection system. Installation of GPS emergency preemption system. Installation of grounding systems as directed by the City
