Site work, remodeling, renovation and addition to an educational facility in Menomonie, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 29,000-square-foot educational facility; for the addition of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; and for the remodel of a 133,000-square-foot educational facility.
In general, the work consists of: the renovation of an existing building of approximately 133,000 GSF along with two new additions consisting of 29,000 GSF. All interior floor layouts will be reconfigured; all building infrastructure (mechanical, electrical, telecommunication, plumbing) systems will be replaced; a new fire suppression system with standpipes and sprinkler distribution will be installed; the roofing system and all exterior walls, doors and windows will be replaced; and site grading and landscaping will be modified and improved. All plumbing fixtures, piping, and equipment will be replaced to assure water quality and safety. A rooftop mechanical penthouse is also being added. Asbestos abatement work will be completed by an Asbestos Abatement Contractor under a separate contract. Base Bids will be received as follows: A single lump sum bid for All Work. Bid Guarantee in the amount of 10% of the Bid must accompany each bid submitted. Contract offer and construction phase records will be processed electronically via eBuilder.
