The Hancock County Commission is looking for a licensed contractor to provide and install 9-1-1 Radio Console System, Next generation 9-1-1 CPE Telephony System with Text to 9-1-1 Integration. Prebid packages can be picked up at the Hancock County Commission Office. 102 N. Court St., New Cumberland, WV 26047. Bids shall be submitted to: Jeremy Ober, Hancock County Courthouse, 102 North Court Street, PO BOx 485, New Cumberland, WV 26047. The Commission reserves the following rights: To reject any and all bids. To waive any informalities in awarding the contract. To seek the lowest responsible bid. This Request for Proposal (RFP) provides detailed information regarding Hancock County's need for improving its Radio and Communications Equipment, and is provided as the basis for developing a proposal from your organization. Hancock County received a grant for upgrading its 911 Radio Dispatch and Call Taking to a VoIP Radio/Telephone Console PSAP System. Hancock County is currently operating with 5 active call taker/dispatch positions and will be expanding to 6 call taker/dispatch positions. The new upgrades are to be completed by December 31, 2021.
