Bids are invited from qualified bidders. The project generally consists of the following: Complete the stripping, surface preparation, and application of paint coating system for all indicated piping, valves, fittings, and other items located in the drywell of this pump station. The scope also includes the replacement of two (2) I-beams. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check drawn to the order of Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority, or a Bid Bond in favor of Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority in the amount of 10% of the bid price. Said check or bond shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The work in connection with this project constitutes a Public Works by a Public Body under Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders are advised that prevailing minimum wage rates, promulgated by the Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor, must be paid to workmen employed on this project. . No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days of the date of the bid opening. The Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any bidding informalities.
