Construction of Repair, repainting, reglazing, and replacement as needed of the original windows on the Mercer County Courthouse. will be received by Mercer County Commission located at 1501 West Main St, Suite 210 in Princeton Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President's Executive Order No. 11246, which prohibits discrimination in employment regarding race, creed, color, sex, or national origin. Neither the United States nor any of its departments, agencies, or employees is or will be a party to this Advertisement for Bids or any resulting contract. Partial funds for this project are through the Courthouse Facilities Improvement Authority (CFIA). The contractor must carry out the described work in compliance with the Secretary of Interior's Standards for Rehabilitations. All applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations apply. A five percent (5%) Bid Bond must accompany all Bids. All Bidders must hold a current West Virginia Contractor's License on the date of bid opening. Bidders must comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Copeland Anti-Kickback Act and the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act. The Mercer County Commission may waive any informalities or minor defects or reject any and all bids.
