Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Colfax, Wisconsin. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
As of September 15, 2022, an engineer has been selected and this project is in the design phase. A firm timeline for construction has not been determined. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Solicitation ID: NW-02 County :17 - Dunn County Limit : Ush 12 to Cth M Anticipated Construction Cost: $6,000,000-$6,999,999 The pavement needs treatment to extend the service life, minor culvert work, curb ramp replacements, joint replacement on B- 17-0984 , widen paved shoulders and add shoulder rumble strips, enhance gravel shouldering, and adjust beam guard. Perpetuation resurface mill to overlay of 9.08 miles on STH 40 from USH 12 to CTH M in Dunn County. Curb ramp replacements/upgrades, culvert and ditch cleaning, culvert liners and endwalls, a safety improvement component of widening and paving the existing shoulders, beam guard replacements, rumble strips, and pavement markings are also included. Also includes two larger culvert replacements (C- 17-1101 & C- 17-1102 ) and joint replacement work on B- 17-984 . There is a railroad component to this project (crossing and signal replacement) under 8620-00-54/55 . Advertised Fixed Fee %: : 7.25 The fixed fee for this contract will apply an indirect cost factor of 150% to the consultant's estimated direct labor, regardless of the consultant's actual indirect rate.
