Site work for a water / sewer project in Des Moines, Iowa. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project provides for the implementation of regional water trails elements called for in the Greater Des Moines Water Trails and Greenways Master Plan and the Water Trails Engineering Study. Projects will include work at Prospect Park, Harriett Street Boat Ramp, Birdland Park and Scott Street dam. Planning for the work will begin in FY21 with the first phase of construction anticipated in FY23. Project improvements and priorities will become more defined as projects move to final submittal for construction and as the collaboration with Greater Des Moines Water Trails continues. Project is included City of City of Des Moines FY 2021-2025 CIP Page 87 *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
