Site work and new construction of a multi-residential development in Telkwa, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 11,978-square-foot, two-story above grade, 20-unit, 20-space multi-residential development; and for site work for a multi-residential development.
Construction of a BC Housing-approved, 20-unit housing development and amenity space. Phase 1A includes 10 one-bedroom units for Elders and over 5000ft2 of amenity space for tenants and the greater community. The second phase (Phase 1B) will include an additional 8 two-bedroom units, and 2 three-bedroom units for families. This sequence will expedite the transition of Elders into suitable living arrangements. Tenants residing in the family units will be able to provide supports for Elders in this multi-generational focused design. There will be a total of 20 in-community units provided after both phases have been completed in 2024. One parking space per unit and additional parking for visitors. TIMELINE: Request for proposals for the provision of prime consultant services for the completion of architectural and professional design services and construction procurement and management, is closed. Owner does not release Bid Results. Project will be updated if/when this project is approved to tender. Coverage of this project is discontinued.
