Expansion of the Rainbow Park parking lot and modifications to accommodate a bus loop and bus layby on Alta Lake Road. Construction of new trails, a sanitary pump station, gravity sewer and forcemain. Additions to existing plantings, signage, furniture, and irrigation network. Upgrades to the park's electrical system. Optional mill and overlay of existing parking lot and bike lane along Alta Lake Road. The scope of work generally comprises clearing and grubbing, grading, excavation, construction of retaining walls, asphalt paving c/w granular base structure and granite shoulder, storm drainage culverts, sanitary sewer, sanitary pump station procurement, installation, and commissioning, forcemain, split rail fences, stairs, and electrical upgrades including coordination with BC Hydro and fabrication of a new electrical kiosk.
