Each bidder must submit an electronic bid bond from an approved surety company using UDOT's Electronic Bid System (EBS); or in lieu thereof, cash, certified check, or cashier's check for not less than 5% of the total amount of the bid, made payable to the Utah Department of Transportation, showing evidence of good faith and a guarantee that if awarded the contract, the bidder will execute the contract and furnish the contract bonds as required. Line Rehabilitation High Volume *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Time charges begin based on the following: 1. The Contractor notifies the Engineer in writing of the desired start date. 2. The start date must be on or after the Early Start Date and before the Late Start Date as defined below: a. Early Start Date - May 16, 2022 b. Late Start Date - July 11, 2022 3. If the Contractor fails to notify the Engineer 14 calendar days prior to the Late Start Date, then contract time begins on the Late Start Date.
