The completion date for this project has been set for 31st of August, 2022 to reconstruct the open ditch and install the tile. There are NO CROP RESTRICTIONS for crops planted after spring of 2022, but no work to be performed in current standing crops (planted in 2021). Leveling and seeding to be performed after settling. This project consists of residential and agricultural drainage. In agricultural areas, the pipe installation shall be with a wheel trenching machine (no aggregate backfill required). ALL other methods of installation shall be installed with 4" aggregate bedding and shall be backfilled with same aggregate to cover the pipe. All aggregates used shall be included in the unit cost bid for the installed pipe except where noted in the construction plans. The Contractor will have a TOTAL OF 90 CALENDAR DAYS to complete the Open Ditch and Waterway reconstruction and Tile installation starting from the day of the commencement of the construction, to the last day all installed items of the contract are approved and considered completed. Leveling and seeding will be finished at a later date. The SHEIPLINE TILE DITCH will have NO CROP RESTRICTIONS for crops planted after spring of 2022. (No work to be performed in current standing crops). The awarded contractor shall also make arrangements with the landowner, and/or the farm operator for each specific property directly affected by this project for entry and/or right-of-way access to this project. There were no bids received for the materials.
