Demolition, site work and addition to a mixed-use development in Ramah, New Mexico. Conceptual plans call for the addition of a laboratory facility; for the demolition of a laboratory facility; and for site work for a laboratory facility.

Per Contracts Administrator PROJECT CANCELLED The owner has determined a prequalified list of design build companies. The previous solicitation has been included below for reference: The Ramah Navajo School Board, (RNSB) is accepting competitive bids from Qualified Companies for PHHC Design-Build Laboratory Building. The Ramah Navajo School Board, Inc. reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals and to waive formalities or decline irregularities in any bid proposals. Navajo/Indian preference will apply and will be evaluated in accordance with the Navajo Nation Business Opportunity Act. 5 N.N. 201-215 to extent permitted by applicable federal law. RNSB is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a 30x60 or equivalent sized building that is a prefabricated or steel building for the PHHC laboratory. ARPA funds will be used to expand the current laboratory facilities. This is a design-build project. 1. A 30x60 foot building or equivalent sized building less than 2000ft 2 2. Can be a steel building or a modular building. a. Built to relevant NFPA codes and standards for a medical clinic. i. NFPA 1 and 45, must tie into the existing fire alarm and fire suppression system ii. NFPA 70 iii. NFPA 5000 iv. NFPA 101, new ambulatory. v. NFPA, 232, archives. b. IBC codes are an acceptable alternative to NFPA codes and standards, except for 101 which is required by Medicare. 3. There are existing utilities onsite, including a generator. 4. There is an existing records carousel that will be relocated to the building 5. The laboratory is required to eight (8), 125v outlets on their own circuits. 6. Specifics a. Building entrance must be level with the existing clinic building and connected to the existing building. b. Lab area must have an emergency shower. c. Patient bathroom must have a pass-through for specimens. d. Building must have lightning protection. e. HVAC must keep the building between 60 and 75 degrees Fahrenheit f. Existing medical records carousel system must fit in the building g. Phlebotomy is not an office, sufficient space to draw blood is required. h. A airlock needs to be constructed from the main clinic to the new building i. Building is split into two functions, lab and medical records i. One supervisor office in each section ii. Shared waiting room with a window for each department 7. A large shed needs to be relocated
