Site work for a water / sewer project in Libertyville, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The bid must be held open for 45 days from the date of bid opening. Specifications, Plans, Contract Documents and Addendums may be obtained from the Engineer's website. The work is located on Bull Creek Drive near the intersection of Leesley Court in unincorporated Libertyville Township, IL. The work for which proposals are invited will consist of, in general, but shall not be limited to, the following: removal and replacement storm sewer, grading and shaping ditches, gabion basket retaining wall, landscape restoration, and all other incidental work necessary to complete the project. Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond for five percent (5%) of the total bid made payable to the Libertyville Township Road District shall accompany the bid. The work shall be prosecuted in such a manner and with such a supply of materials, equipment and labor as is considered necessary to ensure its completion according to the time specified in the Contract. The Contractor shall have all work (except the in-stream Gabion Baskets) substantially completed on or before Friday, December 3, 2021, as described in Article 108.05 of the Standard Specifications. In case of failure to complete the work on time, the provisions of Article 108.09 of the Standard Specifications.
