**As of March 25, 2022, project was awarded to Ward-Humphrey General Contractors , awarded amount is $436,780.68.** This project consists of kitchen freezer and/or cooler replacements at Lost Mountain MS, Hayes ES, Mount Bethel ES, Awtrey MS, Bryant ES and Pope HS. Kitchen HVAC retrofit at Mount Bethel ES. HVAC retrofit, hood and utility distribution system replacement at Dickerson MS. All communications concerning these documents must be submitted in writing to the Cobb County School District (CCSD) Procurement Services Department either by email, or U.S. mail. Responses to all written inquiries will be posted electronically Proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond made payable to the Cobb County School District, in the amount equal to 5 percent of the proposal price. (Certified Checks Not Acceptable.) The successful offeror will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond acceptable to the Cobb County School District in an amount equal to 100 percent of the contract price and executed by a Surety Company licensed to do business in the State of Georgia and listed in the Department of the Treasury Circular 570, latest edition. The Surety Company shall have an A.M. Best Company minimum rating of A- with a financial size of VII "7" or better. Bonds must be accompanied by letter stating the bonding companys current rating for verification before acceptance by the Owner and execution of the formal Owner/Contractor agreement. Contractor and Subcontractors shall require the Attorney-in-Fact who executes bonds on behalf of sureties to attach a certified, current copy of his Power of Attorney. Cobb County School District reserves the right to award the project on whatever basis is in the interest of the Owner and to accept or reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities and informalities.
