Renovation of a residential development in Rock Island, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The City of Rock Island is requesting bids from contractors for a rehabilitation project at a house located at 517 13th avenue This owner-occupied property will be undergoing rehabilitation using Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funds to ameliorate deteriorating and deteriorated conditions. All work shall be subject to HUD 35.930 and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations. Install new aluminum soffit and fascia on all over hangs and eves. The over hangs will need vented soffit panels, where as the eves must be solid panels. Wrap house in fanfold insulation and tape all seams for air tight and moisture tight seal. Install double 4" vinyl siding on entire exterior of home. Use split blocks and light blocks matching siding color around pipes and electrical coming out of the home. Gutters and downs are new and must be kept dent free, fasten back to the new siding with the proper straps. Building permit is required.
