The work to be performed consists of overlaying pavement of designated streets: Zinfandel Drive from Chassella Way to Cordova Lane, Coloma Road (Frontage) from Aramon Drive to Ananda Lane, Tronero Way, Verdello Way, Tormolo Way, Tannat Way, Ganzan Way, Augibi Way, Furmint Way, Investment Circle, Croetto Way, Saltana Way, Woodberry Way, Mills Park Drive, Sarda Way, Vernaccia Circle, Malvasia Way, Catawba Way, Neiretto Court, Dattier Court, Moscano Way, Beclan Drive, Zibibba Way, Pinot Way, Negrara Way, Italia Way, Semillon Way, Masoni Way, Rudat Circle, Malbec Court, Tuscano Court, Bianca Court, Moretto Court, and Momolo Court. Various other items of work include cold plane; hot mix asphalt; rubberized hot mix asphalt; full depth reclamation with cement, slurry seal (Type II), concrete curb, gutter, and sidewalk improvements; drainage improvements; thermoplastic striping and markings; and other incidental work to be completed within the limits of work shown on the Plans. Sidewalk and sidewalk ramp improvements are to comply with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Title 24 and City of Rancho Cordova standards as provided in these specifications. The nature of this project dictates that the limits of pavement repair, sidewalk removal, storm drainage improvements, striping and markings may vary from the Plans, as directed by the City Engineer. The Contractor shall coordinate with the City Engineer throughout the Project to accommodate any adjustments, as deemed necessary by the City Engineer. Bidders are directed to the provisions in Section 1775 of the California Labor Code concerning the payment of prevailing wages to all workers employed in the execution of this contract. Bidders are directed to the provisions in Sections 1777.5, 1777.6 and 1777.7 of the California Labor Code concerning the employment of apprentices by a Contractor and any subcontractor performing a public works contract.
