The Contractor shall provide services to Renovate Restrooms within the Main Building and N Building at the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) Richard McGee Correctional Training Center (CTC) located at 9850 Twin Cities Road, Galt, California, 95632. The Contractor will be compensated for the services in accordance with the service rate specified on Exhibit B-1, Public Works Rate Sheet; which shall include all labor, insurance, bonds, licenses, travel and per diem, materials, non-consumable supplies, transportation, equipment (including rental), training of key institution personnel and every other item of expense necessary to provide the services. Bidder qualifications and licensing requirements (if any) are specified in Exhibit A. Unless otherwise stated, the bidder shall meet all qualifications and licensing requirements at the time of the bid opening. Bidder's security of bid bond, cash, cashier's check or certified check in the amount of at least 10 percent of the base bid must accompany this proposal. If bid bond is used as security, it is to be executed on the appropriate form attached to this proposal. The bond must be executed by an admitted surety insurer. Progress payments are permitted on Agreements in the amount of $10,000 or more with a total term that is in excess of three months. If progress payments are indicated in the Agreement documents, a faithful performance bond in the sum of not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount payable under the Agreement is required. Payments will not exceed ninety percent (90%) of the Agreement amount. Any funds so withheld may be paid upon completion of the project. If the Contract price exceeds $25,000, the successful bidder shall furnish an original payment bond and a duplicate copy to accompany the Contract in an amount not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount payable under the Contract. The bond MUST be prepared on CDCR's STD 807 form, Payment Bond to Accompany Construction Contract, provided to the Contractor by CDCR before execution of the Contract. If progress payments are provided for in the bid and the Contract amount exceeds $10,000, the successful bidder shall furnish an original faithful performance bond and a duplicate copy in a sum not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount payable under the Contract.
