Scope of Work of the Contract includes the Construction of Lift Station No. 1 Rehabilitation, Harris County, Texas. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or a certified or cashiers check, acceptable to the Owner, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount Bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract and execute the Bonds on the forms provided and provide the required insurance within seven (7) days after the date Contract Documents are received by the Contractor. Estimate: $200,00.00 to $225,000.00 TO ALL PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS PLEASE NOTE THAT THE DEADLINE FOR ALL CIV-CAST QUESTIONS WILL BE BY COB ON TUESDAY OCTOBER 26, 2021 TO ENSURE CONSIDERATION BY THE ENGINEER.
*The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Location-Harris County Municipal District No. 208 Lift Station No. 1 scope of work shall include the following:
1. Resurface and recoat the interior sidewalls and ceiling of the wet well.
2. Demolition and replacement of 10" discharge piping for Lift Station Pump Nos. 3 and 4 from the pump discharge connection up to but not 10" wall collar piping.
3. Coat all new 10" discharge piping for Lift Station Pump Nos. 3 and 4 from the pump discharge connection up to but not including the 10" wall collar piping.
4. Recoat interior and exterior of existing 10" wall collars for Lift Station Pump Nos. 3 and 4.
5. Recoat existing 8" Lift Station wet well vent.
6. Remove and replace the access hatches for Lift Station Pump Nos. 1 through 4.
7. Removal of existing 32" frame and grating on top of Lift Station wet well. Fill in the removed frame and grating and install a 8" ventilation pipe.
8. Installation of stairs from top of the pavement to the top of the lift station.
9. Provide bypass piping around the onsite Lift Station while it is out of service during construction.
10. CONTRACTOR is responsible for the safety of his personnel. These
specifications do not extend to or include designs or systems pertaining to the safety of the contractor or its employees, agents, or representatives in the performance of this work. The seal of the licensed engineer hereon does not extend to any such safety systems that may now or hereafter be incorporated in the specifications. The contractor shall prepare or obtain the appropriate safety systems.
