Site work and paving for a road / highway in Temple, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of December 15, 2021, the project has been awarded to Emerson Construction, Inc. for $5,363,373.50. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, superintendence, machinery, equipment and all materials necessary to complete this project in accordance with contract documents for said project. Everything expressly or impliedly required to be furnished and done by the Contractor by any one or more parts of the contract documents, except "extra work" as hereinafter defined; it being understood that, in case of any inconsistency between any part or parts of this contract, the Owner shall determine which shall prevail in accordance with Item 1.19. hereof. Work other than that which is expressly or impliedly required by the contract documents at the time of the execution of the contract. When any work is necessary for the proper completion of the project and for which no prices are provided for in the bid and contract, the Contractor shall do such work, but only when and as ordered in writing by the Engineer. Payment for extra workshall be made as hereinafter provided in Item 1.37.
