Failure to attend the mandatory pre-bid meeting shall result in rejection of your bid. Bidders arriving at pre-bid meeting after 10:15am on October 27, 2021 will be disqualified from bidding. The resulting contract shall be awarded to the lowest, responsive and responsible bidder whose bid meets the requirements and criteria set forth in this ITB and whose award will be in the best interest of and most advantageous to the City of South Bay and Palm Beach County Water Utilities Department (PBCWUD), taking into consideration, among other things, bid amount, the financial responsibility of the bidder, quality of materials, personnel and equipment resources, proven skill and experience, abilities to timely perform the contract, previous satisfactory performance and such other abilities of the bidder that the City in its sole discretion determines will enable it to perform effectively and efficiently the contract being bid upon. A bid tab for each project is required and the two bid tabs will be added to determine the contractor's project bid. No bidder may withdraw his or her bid for a period of ninety (90) days after submission by the date set for the opening thereof.
