Project Nm.: 89022014-001 KCSC desires that Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) have a maximum opportunity to participate in the performance of City contracts. The project has an overall DBE participation goal, and only firms that have been certified by the Missouri Regional Certification Committee (MRCC) and perform a Commercially Useful Function (CUF) are eligible to satisfy the DBE goal. The work may include, but is not limited to, the following: Permits Safety Quality Temporary Traffic Control SWPPP Potholing Existing Utilities Furnish/Install Conduit Furnish/Install Splice Vaults Furnish/Install Fiber Optic Cable and Splicing Permanent and Temporary Restoration Lower KCMO Fiber Conduit in Place on Main St Streetcar Extension Temporary Splice Cutovers on Main St Streetcar Extension Prevailing wages are applicable utilizing the Missouri Annual Wage Decision and applicable county Annual Wage Order at the time of bid submission. Certified Payroll shall be provided on a weekly basis. Bidders are required to provide Payment, Performance, and Maintenance Bonds equal to 100% of the contract value upon execution of a finalized agreement for construction of scopes of work outlined in this document. KCSC's design control process define the requirements of the control, verification, and documentation that all construction activities are proceeding in accordance with the most current design information. The design control requirements included in this QMP apply to the transmittal and control of design modifications that occur during construction. It is the policy of KCSC that all the facilities and components of the streetcar project will be constructed in accordance with the most current version of the design.
