Plans call to construct a new Career Technical Center with parking. New security systems and new door Hardware. Scope of work: New 8,800 sf pre-engineered Career Technical Center which includes termite treatment, structural concrete foundation on piers, interior CMU masonry, exterior stone masonry, cast stone masonry, structural steel framing, metal decks, steel stairs, pipe and tube railings, pre-engineered metal building, metal roof and wall panels, rough carpentry, thermal insulation, fluid applied waterproofing membranes, hollow metal doors and hardware, overhead coiling doors, aluminum frames storefronts, glazing, insulated translucent wall panel system, metal stud framing, gypsum sheathing, acoustical panel ceilings, resilient flooring and base, painting and coatings, visual display surfaces, building plaque and room signage, toilet partitions, toilet accessories, fire extinguisher cabinets, metal lockers, aluminum walkway canopies, metal shelving, shop equipment, welding equipment, overhead hoist, manufactured cabinets and casework, solid surface windowsills, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, data cabling and equipment, audio-video systems, intercom system, video surveillance system, and fire alarm systems. Site improvements consist of selective demolition, earthwork and grading, water and wastewater utilities, concrete pavements and sidewalks, steel bollards, joint sealants, chain link fencing and gates, electrical site lighting, and pavement striping. 1. Cutting, moving, or removal of items or work shown to be cut, moved, or removed. 2. Cutting, moving, or removal of items not shown to be cut, moved, or removed to allow new work to proceed. Work or items which are to remain in the finished work shall be patched or reinstalled after their cutting, moving or removal, and their joints and finishes made to match adjacent or similar work. 3. Removal of existing surface finishes as needed to install new work and finishes. 4. Removal of abandoned items and removal of items serving no useful purpose, such as abandoned piping or wiring. 5. Repair or removal of dangerous or unsanitary conditions. 6. Removal of unsuitable or extraneous materials not marked for salvage such as abandoned furnishings, debris, and rotted wood. Blaschke Sheldon Technical Center to be located at 2664 San Angelo Avenue in Ingleside As of October 26,2021, construction is slated to begin on December 1, 2022 with completion date of December 30, 2022. .
