Pre-Qualifications for General Contractor - ECSD Our Common Home - Renovation Estimated Value: $5,000,000 to $7,000,000 The purpose of this RFQ is to select a shortlist of qualified Proponents for the services of general contractor (prime contractor) to undertake the execution of the project described in this document. ECSD requires a Proponent that is experienced in office renovations and that can demonstrate an ability to complete projects on schedule. ECSD intends to shortlist up to five general contractors to enter a competitive process to perform the work. This project is identified as a minor modernization to three buildings referred to as Blocks A (2 floors, North side), B (2 floors, South Side) & C (3 floors, East Side) and the lower level, Block D (attached to a parkade which is out of scope) conjoined by an Atrium space. Demolition to remove existing flooring and base, to salvage door, frame and glazing and hardware assemblies for reuse, to remove redundant cabling and mechanical and electrical elements, to remove and salvage acoustic ceiling tiles and to remove and dispose of obsolete equipment has already been completed.
