Description

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Saint George, South Carolina. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

This project improves a section of US 78 from Richardson Ave to Berlin Myers Pkwy. Project elements include: road resurfacing, pedestrian improvements, shoulder construction, road widening and intersection improvements. Project is included Dorchester County FY 2023-2027 CIP, as of May 20, 2024, project is in design phase until mid-2026. Construction expected mid-2026. A design team has been identified. A general contractor is to be determined. Right-of-way services being done by Michael Baker International. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
