As of 5/14/2024, no bids were received. Project will be rebid. Specifications Description of Repairs: Rehab the Upper Dorchester County WWTP's well system and hydro pneumatic tank. The chosen contractor must perform the following improvements to the existing well and hydro pneumatic tank: 1. Drain and pressure wash the interior of the existing hydro pneumatic tank and ensure that all debris is removed after it is pressure washed. 2. Replace the hydro pneumatic tank's drain valve and air intake valve. 3. Replace the hydro pneumatic tank's pressure relief valve and level sensor probe. 4. Replace existing air compressor with new, oilless air compressor (manufacturer to be approved by County). 5. Replace all add-air controls including switches, solenoid valves, gauges, etc. 6. Replace hydro pneumatic tank's sight glass (must include valves and sight glass drain for freeze prevention). 7. Replumb water supply feed line from the well head to the hydro pneumatic tank. 8. Install insulation over all exposed valves and feed line and drain plumbing. 9. Provide a new chlorine system for the well system. Chlorine system shall consist of a dual scale system for 150lb cylinders, rotameter for chlorine adjustment, vacuum gauges, booster pump, ejectors, regulators, and chlorine leak detection (Dorsett SCADA-ready).
