Cherokee County is requesting proposals to design, provide equipment, and install two splash pads; a recirculating system at Midway Recreation Complex located at 230 Midway Rd. Gaffney, SC 29341, and a flow through system for Lime St. Park located at W Lime St. Blacksburg, SC 29702. All equipment will be assembled and installed by the supplier. The proposals shall include the costs of delivered and installed splash pad systems as designed, inclusive of the equipment structures, components, hardware, permits, engineering fee's, detailed technical installation instructions and maintenance & operations manuals from manufacturer. I. Project Allowance The total dollar amount allocated to the project, including equipment, delivery, installation, fees, and related items for a complete splash park is not to exceed $300,000.00 for Lime St. Park and $400,000.00 for Midway Recreation Complex. II. Site Contractors submitting a proposal for this work shall first examine the site of the proposed work that they may fully understand facilities, difficulties, and restrictions attending the execution of the contract. No subsequent allowances shall be made because of omission, error, or negligence in connection with this provision. Cherokee County will provide water, sewer and electrical service within 20' of the proposed area of the splash park.
