ID/IQ Installing, Developing, Testing, Rehab, and Abandoning Production and Monitoring Wells. The Work under this Project consists of drilling, installing, developing and completing pumping tests at a new production well, rehabilitating existing production wells using aggressive mechanical and pumping techniques, and abandoning any production or monitoring wells as needed. This is an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) solicitation that will result in IDIQ contracts awarded to multiple contractors on a multiple award work/task order basis Questions regarding this project must be submitted in writing via email to Suzan Sadler, (ssadler@cityofchesapeake.net), by 5:00 PM local time on May 12, 2022. The Work under this Project consists of drilling, installing, developing and completing pumping tests at a new production well, rehabilitating existing production wells using aggressive mechanical and pumping techniques, and abandoning any production or monitoring wells as needed. This is an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) solicitation that will result in IDIQ contracts awarded to multiple contractors on a multiple award work/task order basis. Bid Security in the amount of FIVE percent (5%) of the Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. Each Bidder shall submit a letter of certification from their surety that an Erosion and Sediment Control Surety Bond in the amount of $ will be issued if the Bidder is awarded the contract. Period of performance: three (3) years from the date of execution with two (2) additional one (1) year renewal options upon the mutual written agreement of Withdrawal of Bids due to error shall be subject to and in accordance with Section 2.2-4330 of the Code of Virginia, Chesapeake City Code Chapter 54, and the Contract Documents. The Owner reserves the right to waive minor non-substantive informalities in the Bid, to reject any/or all Bids, to award any Bid in whole or in part and award the Bid considered to be in the best interest of the Owner. The Owner also reserves the right to negotiate with the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder should Bid exceed available funds by no more than 5%, in accordance with Chesapeake City Code Section 54-63(7).
