Renovation of a water / sewer project in Riverhead, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
As of 12/22/2021 no award has been made. A timeline for the award has not yet been established. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid, or a certified check made payable to the TOWN OF RIVERHEAD as assurance that the bid is made in good faith. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality, and to accept the lowest responsible bid. All work shown and specified in the contract documents and included in this bid shall be completed within three-hundred (300) consecutive calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed. The purpose of the project is to install two (2) 40,000 pound Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) vessels for the removal of PFOA and PFOS from Well Nos. 5-1 of the Riverhead Water District, located on Middle Road in Riverhead, New York. This project will include the installation of a pre-fabricated building to house the GAC vessels, including appropriate electrical, mechanical and HVAC components, in addition to appropriate interior and exterior piping and site work. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
