The Board of Trustees of the Riverhead Charter School ("the School"), Town of Riverhead, County of Suffolk, hereby invites the submission of Sealed Bids for Building Renovation Work at 5117 Sound Avenue, Riverhead NY 11701. All bidders must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a certified or bank cashier's check made payable to "The Riverhead Charter School" in an amount not less than 5% of the total amount of the Bid. If the successful Bidder fails or refuses to sign a contract with the School within ten (10) days after the successful Bidder has been notified of the award of the contract to it, such successful Bidder shall forfeit its Bid Security to SCHOOL as liquidated damages. Bidders are also required to comply with the anti-discrimination provisions of Sections 290-301 of the Executive Law of the State of New York, and all other local, state and federal statutes. The SCHOOL reserves the right to reject any or all of the Bids received, to re-advertise for Bids, to abandon the project, to waive any or all informalities or irregularities in any Bid received and to accept any proposal which the SCHOOL decides to be for the best interest of the SCHOOL. All bids received after the time stated in this advertisement for Bids will not be considered and will be returned unopened to the Bidder.
