Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Peoria, Illinois. Completed plans call for the construction of a 9,100-square-foot, one-story above grade pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.

The project is a one-story pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) with shallow foundations. The building is roughly 7,400 square feet of Maintenance and Operations space and 1,700 square feet of mezzanine storage. The Maintenance area comprises two garage bays with support shop spaces and training space. The Operations area comprises an open office suite for six, a break room for 25, a vending area, and two locker rooms. The Project also includes necessary site and utility work to support the new building. a. Wall expansion and control joints. b. Joints between door, window, and other frames and adjacent construction. c. Joints between different exposed materials. d. Openings below ledge angles in masonry. Completion Date: The Contractor to whom the award is made shall be completed with the total Project by June 1st, 2023; however, construction may not begin before February 28th, 2022. 10% MBE and 5% WBE.
