The scope of work includes but is not limited to the completion of pavement restoration along Rainier Street from Union Avenue to Puyallup Street., approximate-ly 2,520 LP, and involves pave-ment grinding, subgrade restora-tion, paving, curb ramp replace-ment, utility grade adjustments, replacement of utility covers and lids, channelization, and traffic control. A DBE Goal of 19% has been established and Federal Prevailing Wage Requirements are in effect. Estimated Bid Range: $900,000 to $1,100,000 Each bid shall be accompanied by a hid bond, in the amount not less than 5% of the bid amount, with a corporate surety licensed to do business in the State of Washington, and no bid will be considered unless accompa-nied. by such a bond. At time and place named, such bids will be opened and read, and the Town of Steilacoom staff will proceed to canvas the bids, and may award the project Contract to the lowest responsible bidder. The Town of Steilacoom reserves the unquali-fled right in their sole and abso-lute discretion to reject any and all bids, and to accept. the bid which, in their sole and absolute judgment will, under all circum-stances, best serve the interest of the Town of Steilacoom.
