Renovation of a mixed-use development in Southbridge, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The budget for the project is under $100,000. The Southbridge Public Schools is seeking bids for painting the Southbridge Middle / High School at 132 Torrey Road, pursuant to MGL Chapter 30B Section 39M. This project will renew the paint and make cosmetic repairs to the areas outlined below. The project will include preparation of surfaces (fill in holes and defects), spot prime and apply two (2) coats of paint to walls, soffits and railings of the below listed areas of the Southbridge Middle / High School building at 132 Torrey Road. Project Includes: 59 classrooms, 59 interior door jams, 5 breakout areas and 4 sets of stairwells. Additional Scope Information: o In general, the Contractor shall supply all labor, materials, equipment, temporary protection, tools, and appliances necessary for the proper completion of the work in this Section, that includes: o Prepare, clean, prime and paint with two (2) interior finish coats, o Remove and reinstall all objects that are not permanently affixed to the areas to be painted o Cover the floor adjacent to the preparation areas with one layer of six mil polyethylene sheeting to a minimum of ten feet from the surface to be painted o Clean and restore all areas affected by the work.
