The Bluejay Stadium Bleacher Additions Project (Bid Issuance 1) consists of the furnishing and installation of aluminum bleachers on the Home and Visitors sides of the stadium (no concrete footings, slabs, etc.) - bleachers only. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, cashier's check or certified credit union share draft in a separate envelope in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. The certified check or cashier's check or certified share draft shall be drawn on a bank or credit union in Iowa or a bank or credit union chartered under the laws of the United States of America, and payable to the Bondurant-Farrar Community School District as security that if awarded a contract by resolution of the Board, the Bidder will enter into a contract at the prices bid and furnish the required performance and payment bonds and certificate of insurance. Failure to follow these specific bidding instructions as outlined in this notice or the bid documents may be cause for rejection of the bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive informalities or irregularities in the bidding. Bidders may obtain Bidding Documents for Bid Issuance 1 of the Bluejay Stadium Bleacher Additions Project, at the office of the Printer, Action Reprographics, 5037 NE 14th Street, Des Moines, Iowa 50313, by calling 515-288-2146 from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday or through their On-line Plan Room upon depositing the sum of one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) for each set of the Bid Issuance 1 of the Bluejay Stadium Bleacher Additions Project Construction Documents. Checks shall be made out to the Bondurant-Farrar Community School District. The entire deposit will be refunded to bona fide Bidders upon the return of the Documents, in good condition to Action Reprographics, within thirty (30) days after the Bid Opening. A separate $25.00 nonrefundable check made out to Action Reprographics must accompany the deposits for each set shipped. Members of Associated Builders and Contractors of Iowa may obtain Bidding Documents by use of the non-cash security method adopted by the ABC of Iowa. Members of Master Builders of Iowa may obtain Bidding Documents by use of the non-cash security method adopted by the Master Builders of Iowa, Inc. Members of the Omaha Builders Exchange may obtain Bidding Documents by use of the OBE Non-Cash Security Method for Return of Plan and Specs endorsed by the Omaha Builders Exchange. Bidders requesting sets through non-cash security method shall include a separate $40.00 non-refundable check made out to Action Reprographics for each set shipped.
