The proposed Bondurant Emergency Services Facility building is anticipated to be approximately 29,000 square feet with the following features: Apparatus bays Public lobby and display space Training room / Emergency Operations Center for the City Offices for current and future growth Living area (day room and study rooms to double as sleeping quarters for future) Kitchen Locker rooms PPE / Turn out gear storage room (with ventilation) Decontamination laundry room Storage areas for both fire and EMS supplies Work area for SCBA maintenance and general equipment repairs Tornado safe space Exercise and fitness center for all city staff Ability to be expanded to meet future growth As of September 3, 2024, the construction manager has been selected. Further details regarding construction and completion timelines have not been identified.
