Demolition, site work, remodeling, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Bondurant, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; for the addition of a 1,000-square-foot educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; for the remodel of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.

A small addition (approx. 1,000sf) will be added to the Anderson Elementary School building, as well as remodeling and door replacement work. Remodeling of the existing administration office area will include the existing administrative lobby, principal office, and the front conference room. The existing conference room will become the secure entrance lobby. The Anderson Elementary School scope of work will also include removal and replacement of a limited number of exterior doors and windows around the perimeter of the building. The Intermediate School scope of work will include remodeling of the existing administration area for a teacher's lounge. In addition, the FCS room will be remodeled into the new administration area and nurse's office. Several doors will also be replaced throughout, and around, the Intermediate School building. Work to commence on or about April 8, 2024, and be substantially complete on or before August 2, 2024. Final Acceptance of the Project shall be on or before August 15, 2024. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid submitted. Bid Security must be in the form set forth in the Instructions to Bidders and submitted in a separate sealed envelope clearly labeled Bid Security. Bid Security must be in one of the following forms: Certified Check, Cashier's Check, Certified Share Draft or an approved Bond Form. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Certificate of Insurance and Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds both in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract Price and in accordance with other requirements outlined in the Bid Documents.
